I opened Villa Astoria, a guest house/hostel in January as the first step towards creating an eco-village and I need help running it. I work full time and travel occasionally for work, which makes doing both things next to impossible.

I'm looking for general administration, upkeep of the hostel, help with online presence & marketing, handling check-ins and check-outs. Since I'm here a good part of the time and we're not nearly to the point where there's guests all the time, there's plenty of time for exploring and sightseeing.

3 months, 6 months, 1 year -- I'm totally flexible at this point. Caring for the hostel isn't that much work -- it's just too much given my current employment and I need help. I'll be right next door most of the time. And when it get so busy that there's more work than is fair to ask of a house-sitter -- well, that's a good thing & we'll talk about options.

There are 10 bedrooms, living room, hostel office, and kitchen, also laundry room, storage area, and additional handicap-accessible bathroom. Dining table is on the covered terrace right beside the kitchen. There are ceiling fans in all rooms.

Laid-back, tropical atmosphere. Quiet small town that comes to life for holidays, town festivals, and many weekends. Nearest 'city' 20 minutes by car or bus. We're close to beaches and mountains. Public transport is available to nearly anywhere - even remote rural locations up in the mountains. Only 2 hours to Panama City where you can find just about anything and there's plenty of night life if that's your thing.
