We have two pets: one is a street dog from Sri Lanka, 6 years old, the other one is a 16 months old cat. Lalaa (our dog) is a lovely and adorable street dog from Sri Lanka where we lived for 2 years before moving to the Netherlands. We took her as a puppy from the street and she followed us to Europe where she enjoys lots of walks in the forest and on the beach.
The cat Yeti was adopted in August 2024 and is now settled an having fun with the dog. They get along well and like to chase each other.Make sure that our dog follows the same routine every day. Lalaa usually needs to go out in the morning around 8/9am, then during the day for a longer walk (off the leash on the beach or in a forest) and finally at the end of the day.
Yeti is going out through the dining room window in a big fish net which we slide down to the garden flat area. She is used to going out this way and usually wants to go out mornings for a few hours and evenings when it gets dark.

We have some plants which need watering once a week.
We also expect our place to look as clean and tidy as when we left it. We expect the sitter to vacuum, mop, thoroughly clean the kitchen toilets and bathroom before we get back. Leftovers should not be left in the fridge. Bedsheets and towels should also be washed and possibly dried before departure.

Our apartment is located in a very quiet neighborhood close to Scheveningen and the closest forest is 10 mn walk. There are plenty of public transport (tram) to go downtown (10mn). It is also very easy to cycle everywhere.
We live in a 2 storey maisonette with 3 bedrooms and small balconies. The sitters usually stay in our daughter's bedroom.

séjour très réussi chez Sylvie et Yannick, leur maison est accueillante et confortable, et idéalement placée dans un quartier vivant et agréable de La Haye. les consignes ont été facilement partagées en amont du séjour et complétées au moment de notre arrivée, Lalaa et Yeti sont des habitants très sympathiques de la maison et l'adaptation s'est faite très rapidement. nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
