Our dog Chicka (labrador-bordercolly) is very friendly, easy handling and devoted and at home she isn´t tied up. We need a person who really likes dogs and has experience with them. Our dog likes to play with balls and hike with. She needs food and water two times a day. We are looking for a house-sitter who wants to be together with the dog and who needs a place to relax, you have the possibility to work at home -wifi available- you can paint, write, make music or other things - a person who likes nature and is responsible and respectful. There are also 4 cats which are used to stay outside and sometimes inside the house. You have to give them food and water every 2-3 days. There is a rabbit and a guinea-pig who need food and water every 2-3 days too. The flowers and some vegetables need water when it´s hot nearly every day.

The dates are nearly fix, but we can talk, because we go by car. It will be good to meet each other one day before, if you are really interested, we can join before by Skype or Face-time to talk.

House

Very nice house in the forest , big garden - a lot of space, quiet, not far from Perigueux (20-30 min). You can watch a lot of interesting things in the region like castles, caves, prehistory places... It´s near the valley of Vézère and Dordogne where you can go by canoe. There is a big screen but no television-programm. We have a lot of DVDs (english, french and german), you can look youtube. There is a piano and other instruments (percussion) you can make noise in the house, because there are not really direct neigbourgs (good for musicians...) You can walk in the forest , not far there is a horse ranch or you can go for hire canoe on the Vézère or Dordogne. The house is a bit isolated in the forest, but we have neighborhood - other houses a bit away - and the village (800 m - you can walk 20 min or 5 min by car). There is a very good Pizzeria! The next village with market , Supermarket and other lovely french stores is 10 min by car. If you prefer more magazines and a lot of restaurants you can go by car in 20-30 min. …

There is really a lot of things to discover: prehistoric caves, Aquarium and Alligator park,castles and beautiful parks, a lot of famous caves in Europe,discover many historical places (prehistoric and middle age - you should visit this region if you are interested in former history!
18 km to Perigueux, 20 km to Sarlat le Caneda, 150 km (1,5 hours) to Bordeaux if you prefer the towns. In the nearer surroundings there are nice rocky landscapes like in Les Eyzies de Taillac.. So if you like nature, rocks, rivers and history - it´s really great!
