Krong Kampot

I especially need to keep the garden in good condition. Water if it does not rain and put out the grass around trees if much rain. Sometimes cut the grass with a brush cutter ...
MY NEEDS : in French .
Mes besoins sont l’ entretien de la maison , avec les conditions dans lesquelles nous vivons au Cambodge .
C’ est a dire forage pour l’ eau courante ( non potable ) …mais avec une pompe electrique , plus une seconde permettant la pression pour prendre une douche ou arroser le jardin a l’ aide d’ un tuyau d’ arrosage .
Les ustensiles ici sont assez fragiles , donc agir avec precaution …
Souvent des fourmis , donc ne jamais laisser trainer de nourriture voir meme les miettes !
L entretiens du jardin , le terrain fait 2600 m2 ! = arroser si besoin les arbres et plantes par tout le terrain ( tuyaux a dispo ou sceaux pour un peu d exercice ! ) .
Lorsque je parle de poissons , ce sont de minuscules poissons a l’ exterieur dans un petit bassin , les nourrir avec des granules 2 a 3 fois par semaine , c est tout !

Mes voisins proches sont Marie , une dame francaise de plus de 60 ans, tres tranquille et qui n aime pas etre derangee, elle a une petite chienne tres calme .
Mon second voisin proche est Peter un Allemand de presque 70 ans ( qui parle Anglais et Khmer et francais aussi ! ) . Lui a des chats … et beaucoup d humour …
Un peu plus loin un couple, lui Anglais et et sa femme khmere = Cambodgienne , ils ont la cinquantaine ( pas a eux 2 ! ) . Travailleurs et tranquilles .
Mais devant ma maison il n y a aucun vis-à-vis , et c est un magnifique paysage qui s’ offre a vos yeux ! Avec des papillons et oiseaux , parfois des grenouilles lorsque qu’ il pleut !

C est l’ emplacement du terrain que j’ occupe .
Je souhaite des personnes calmes , en couple si possible , c’ est plus agreable dans un endroit un peu recule .. a 4 km du centre de la charmante petite ville de Kampot .
Et pour etre fair play avec ma voisine Marie qui est une amie et qui ne parle pas tres bien anglais , j ' avoue que j ' aurais une preference pour des personnes parlant francais .
Et pour moi aussi afin de faciliter les explications a donner avant mon depart .

I will leave the 4 th of July , so it can be nice to meet each other before I leave to explain you about the house and all the facilities to go to Kampot town , only 4 km.

So beautiful landscape around the house ..
300 meters is a guest house Bohemiaz with a natural swimming pool , and a SPA and if you don' t want cook ...go to their restaurant .

Since my house is not in town you have to rent a motorbike to get around. Around the house you can walk on foot but it is advisable to also know Kampot. The best rate for renting a motorcycle is $ 4 per 24 hrs. or around $ 80 to 90 by month.

Inside Kampot different areas , one is beatiful but a lot of tourist is the old French area with so amazing houses with colors , but now more and more restaurant instead of Khmers people .
On the banks of the river you can go to the waterfalls, with charming guest houses on the banks of the river, on the other side, a landscape with small hamlets and local life, up to 20 km. You will find plantations of fruit trees because kampot is the orchard of Cambodia!
In the south an island where there are salt marshes and villages Cham = muslims, of fishermen. Houses on stilts.
The mountain of Bokor, from my house you see the mountains, it is necessary to make 40 km of road in good state but it climbs! Above the old casino built by the French, in foggy weather it looks like a ghost building but on a clear day we discover a splendid sight on the gulf of Siam and the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc.
In the direction of Kep, the secret lake.
Then the plantations of the famous Kampot Pepper so reputed and so delicious.
Some ancestral caves always in direction of Kep.
Kep located by the sea (40 mn by motorbike) , the so quiet sea, the beach, a small island that is charming with its rudimentary bamboo bungalows, the Rabbit Island, 30 mn boat from Kep.
The big city of Sihanoukville with its immense beaches and a small islands is 130 km, you can go by train from Kampot by loading the motorcycle on the train! Nice but long journey!
Plenty of outdoor activities that will only cost you petrol to put in the tank and keep your eyes wide open!
Drink a coconut juice for $ 0.5 and eat local vegetables + rice for $ 1.
The rest is also possible if your budget allows you, go drink a cocktail by the river at sunset! Gorgeous !
