Needs and animals

1 Dog

We have a beautiful Irish red setter who is still just a puppy at 5 months old. He is learning and responding to training very quickly and already sleeps well through the night and keeps all business for the great outdoors with zero accidents inside our house so far. He loves lots of attention and exercise. We generally walk him 3-4 times daily. 2 short walks and 2 longer walks with running, ball chasing etc. He has no special needs or allergies, etc and all food that he enjoys will be provided of course. He is happy staying at home alone for periods (usually max of 2 hours) and will enjoy time in the garden alone or with company while we are at home. All we ask from a sitter is to maintain a similar routine to what he is used to.

House

Our home is a spacious traditional semi-detached house on the outskirts of Belfast city with lots of green spaces and parks nearby for nice walks and places to explore. Close to the M1 motorway and main routes in and out of Belfast it's convenient for visiting the sights and day trips around the country, etc. With 2 reception rooms, open plan kitchen2 bathroom s and downstairs loo and 4 bedrooms to accommodate our 2 boys and ourselves with a guest room, the house is ideal for comfortable living, also with a large garden to enjoy the scenery outdoors.

The house is a traditional Belfast home with some contemporary features and decor. The main advantage is location as the city is accessed with ease but we are also far enough out to enjoy a small town/country side feel in terms of lifestyle. We love where we live!

General city outskirts living. Shops nearby, pubs and restaurants nearby and also parks and nice green spaces nearby. Golf courses and sport facilities nearby with access to buses and trainlines for main routes into andnout of Belfast City centre and surrounding towns and places of interest.

Tourism and Leisure

Belfast is a relatively small city and with access to motorway very close to our house all the sights in and around Belfast can be accessed within 30mins give or take depending on traffic, etc. It is also a great base for exploring all of northern Ireland's amazing scenery and places of outstanding beauty including especially the giants causeway and Antrim coastline which is simply spectacular. Also the Belfast Titanic museum and many other places of interest are on our door step in Belfast. In addition to this, Dublin city and many other destinations can be easily reached by car, train or bus within 2 hours from Belfast. All in all a great place from which you can experience get to know ireland as much as you like.
