1 Cat

My cat is called Lola, a 3 years-old black and white female (see pictures of the flat, she appears several times). She is very lovely and likes cuddling, and receiving cuddles. She has no particular needs except for the food, that I will explain when we meet in the flat. A bit of playing every day is also nice to entertain her, as well as letting her go from time to time on the balcony.

House

My house is a cosy 1 room flat, full of plants and with a nice south-east oriented balcony. A nice parc is reachable in a 1 minute footwalk.

I have few books, and 2 guitars. I can also borrow my bike.

The flat is located in the city of Brussels but in a calm residential area, very close to a big and nice parc. The sleeping room is in the inner side of the building, so we don't hear the street at night. There are small local shops in the neighbourhood. City center is easily reachable by common transport (tram and bus).

Tourism and Leisure

Brussels is full of museums, cinemas and has a food culture with chocolate, waffles and of course a high number of beers from microbreweries with a lot of taste!
The rest of Belgium is easily reachable by train: in maximum 1.5 hours, you are everywhere! Bruges, Ghent, Namur, the North Sea coast or the Ardennes forest are reachable. Having a bike trip in the countryside is also a nice activity.

Perrine has provided me with a great experience and has been a very thoughtful host from the beginning. She was truly caring and made sure I had everything I needed and more to make my stay truly memorable. The apartment is basically a very well-accommodated modern studio with a view and lovely birds singing in the mornings. The location, in a lovely, green area near a park and a forest provides an utmost sense of balance for a European capital. You have bike paths everywhere and can basically explore every point of Brussels from this location. The time spent taking care of her Lola is something I look back on with deep fondness and affection. I am tremendously grateful for this experience and truly appreciated her as a host. Delightful.
