Our cat needs feeding two or three times a day. In hot weather pls make sure he has plenty of water. He is very independent but likes company and likes to sleep on the bed at night. Please also water the garden in dry weather.

Traditional stone house with lovely garden and roof terrace, privately situated in beautiful village (with bar-ristorante, grocery store, etc) overlooking the Bay of Poets

We have an e-bike for your use. There is a lovely roof terrace with a great view.

The village is quiet but there is an active community and bar/ristorante. Walks from the door into the Monte Marcello National Park or down to the sea. In 20 minutes you can walk down to the thriving seaside town of Lerici (but it is a more strenuous walk back up!) Lerici has many bars & restaurants and a great market on Saturdays. Please note that the area is very hilly and if you are planning to walk, you will need to be fairly fit. There are buses to and from the village, and a taxi service in Lerici ,if you need them.

This is a brilliant area with so much to do locally especially if you like being outdoors: hiking, swimming, water sports or just soaking up the sun on the beach. Yet you are close to more urban pursuits, with the lovely small city of Sarzana or the interesting port of La Spezia on your doorstep - both full of cultural interest. You can also take boat trips to the famous Cinque Terre or to lovely Portovenere (which you can see from the village).

Which is the best? It's a hard work choosing between Perry the cat, the house and Edana&Heather, definitely! Perry is a very easy-going pet, there is an electronic door, he can do whatever he wants during the day. Stunning location, you can enjoy the garden for breakfast and pick up zucchini and raspberries for lunch. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, always available before and during the sitting. The scent of jasmine, many picturesque medieval villages to visit, their pleasant friends, don't miss good bread and vegetable pie at the little food store. Yes, I strongly recommend this sitting
