2 Cats

We have 2 cats that are 3 years old. We have one female and one male. They are indoor cats only. They eat the same dry food from bowls in an automatic food dispenser that must be filled once a week. The water bowl needs to be topped off every few days and washed once a week. The deposits in the 4 litter boxes need to be removed a few times a day and litter has to be added once or twice a week. The 2 cats play well alone or together but their toys need to be retrieved from under furniture once in a while. They like it when we throw their balls on occasion. In winter, there is some snow to clear from the front balcony and stairs every snowfall. There are 10 indoor potted plants to water once a week.

It’s our first time on this site but we’ve had 5 “5 stars” sits on another platform. Our apartment is on the second floor of an eight-plex in Trois-Rivières which is a city situated halfway between Québec and Montréal. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. The nearest store, pharmacy and restaurants are about 3 kilometres away. There are wooded areas with trails a few kilometres away as well.

Our apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom with a roomy living room and dining room area as well as an office with two desks. The kitchen is fully furnished with electric range, fridge, microwave, coffee machine (regular, cappucino, espresso, etc) and several small appliances. There is a washer and dryer in the appartment. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. There is an air exchanger and air conditioning if needed. There are smoke detectors in the dining room, the office and each bedroom.

IMPORTANT: There is no telephone line in the apartment so a cell phone is a must. The Wi-Fi is very good as we both work from home. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment.

Our neighbourhood is quiet but just 5 km from supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, etc. There are also forest trails nearby. During winter there is snowshoeing, ice skating, cross country skiing. There are museums and several venues for concerts.

Je remercie sincèrement Lynda et Gilles pour la confiance qu'ils m'ont accordée durant ce séjour de 2 mois à Trois-Rivières. En effet, j'ai pu profiter d'un espace privilégié en compagnie de leurs adorables chats, Chico et Cazuela, très faciles à vivre, joueurs, câlins et très attachants. J'ai été reçue très chaleureusement, les hôtes ayant tout fait pour rendre mon séjour agréable, tant dans l'organisation de leur très bel appartement, fonctionnel, propre , que dans le planning journaliers établi par Gilles, le contact régulier et disponible des hôtes, que dans la voiture mise à ma disposition qui m'a facilité des déplacements et permis de découvrir cette contrée féerique en plein hiver Québécois. Pour leur gentillesse, leur bienveillance, leur confiance, je leur dis encore merci. Quelle belle expérience humaine Nomador!
