Munich

Our young Siberian cat (around 9 months old) is very playful and smart, and would love to have some people around for a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening. It usually receives food from us two times per day around 8am and 8pm. It has a litter box at the bathroom that needs to be cleaned. We would also love to have our plants in the balcony and in the apartment watered; in the summer the flowers in the balcony usually need it once per day or two (depending on the heat). At least once per three days it would also be very cool to have the vacuum cleaner robot to do a full round, so that we keep it clean and without too much cat fur.

Those are the dates of our tickets; we would like to have at least one day overlap in the beginning of the trip for getting acquainted with the house sitter, so that we can give instructions calmly and be able to handle unforeseen situations.

It is an apartment with bedroom, big living room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony in the central area of Munich. It is fully equipped with dishwasher, food processor, coffee machine, microwave, waffle machine, home cinema projector, bluetooth sound amplifier, washing machine, vacuum cleaner robot, WiFi. A subway station is located one block away and within only 4 stops one can reach the Central Train Station and Marienplatz, the heart of the city. Within walking distance one can also reach the suburban train station from where it is possible reach Tegernsee and some other alpine locations. The neighborhood is calm, safe, and has good infrastructure: pharmacy (1 block away), supermarket and discounter (500m), public swimming pool (500m), many restaurants and bars nearby, 4 different parks in a 2km range, one of which crossed by Isar river. The huge area where the Oktoberfest takes place starts only 750m away. It is far from being a bohemian neighborhood, but people sit outside restaurants and bars all around.

We also have at home some equipment for Yoga and circles for Pilates. People who likes to sew can also use a sewing machine.

It is pretty relaxing place: usual noise come from children playing in the inner yard. Specially in the mornings and evenings you can hear birds singing beautifully around. The apartment is very bright all over the day, it has big windows with blinds, and it does not get too much hot inside. As we have fast WiFi connection, a bluetooth sound amplifier and a projector, it is possible to create environments with music and enjoy home cinema using streaming applications. The mattress is new and comfortable, with different blanket weights including one with 6kg which can be used for muscle relaxation (best results when used by people having 50-69 kg). For the ones seeking for working spaces, we have two tables with ergonomic chairs and additional screens, one of the tables can also have its height adjusted, so you can work sitting or standing.

The top tourist attraction in Munich is certainly Oktoberfest, but we have other seasonal (or not) highlights such as Christmas Markets, street markets, Biergartens, art museums, science museums, history museums, the zoo, parks, a vibrant bohemian area in Schwabing. There is plenty of nature around Munich to be explored by bike, train and car, such as nearby forests, lakes and the alps, where is possible to hike and, in the winter, ski. In the city there is plenty of offers for car/bike/e-scooter sharing.
