As a family
We are a couple in our thirties with a young son, Felix. We are based in Oxford, UK and both work for Oxford University in different administrative teams. We are both linguists by background, we love to travel and we love animals. We would really like to have animals of our own but our location at the moment makes it tricky. However it would be an absolute pleasure to look after other people's while they are away and to share this experience with our son as we teach him about other places in the world and looking after spaces and animals. We both have experience of house and pet-sitting and we have enjoyed it so much. Mixing this with travel and seeing the world is the perfect combination for us.

Sophie and her family are kind, gracious, and were very easy to communicate with. Our experience with Sophie and her family speaks more to their upstanding character than if they had actually watched our pets. They had bought tickets and had everything planned to watch our house and our pets. One week before they were due to come, my mother in law caught a bad case of pneumonia and had to be hospitalized, which meant we had to cancel our trip. During these stressful times, Sophie was gracious and caring, and kept communicating very well. I have no doubt if they were so generous and kind in this difficult situation, they would have done an amazing job of watching our house and our pets.
