Bonjour! Je m’appelle Shelli. I am interested in traveling to your home, I can travel on my own or bring an additional person if you need a couple with my husband Luke. I speak three languages, English, French, Chinese and am learning Spanish now. I am a female nonsmoker in my 40’s. The last few sittings I did were 2024 Hawaii and Montreal Canada, 2023 in Palo Alto California, 2021 Brussels Belgium, and Rome Italy. Add to the list, Sicily this year 2026 and Los Angeles 2025, Bergerac France 2025, they were all cat-sittings, each cat with different personalities and habits to dance with. Hawaii three weeks with two lovely dogs, in Rome I cared for 3 cats, in Brussels I took care of a pair of cat and dog, providing daily walk and medication for the dog, and loved the experiences. In the past I have done house sittings for friends during my training in San Francisco and oral medicine residency in Hawaii; temporary arrangements were made where I cared for homes, pet(cat) , garden plants, hot tub/ swimming pool. For Dr. Allens, I cared for their dog, cat and garden in hurricane season when they went on their anniversary Cruise. In San Francisco, twice cat sat for an artist lady who had hot tub which required periodic water treatment. They all were happy with our sitting.

I am eco conscious and keep a light footprints in environment and homes. Beginning in 2025 I am excited to be studying music online at Berklee. I have couple of homes in the Rocky Mountains of United States and run airbnb out of our extra bedrooms. I am fairly handy and good at repairs. Semiretired from a doctor’s life, I garden, permaculture to grow food, keep a couple chickens and bunnies, create my no recipe cuisine from the garden. I like to do yoga and Vipassana meditation. Places I have lived are tropical islands Hawaii for a decade, midwest USA for my western medical training, San Francisco for my eastern medical training, Asia where I was born and now I reside near Salt Lake City snow land. I am married to an experienced traveler who retired in 2025. He has backpacked to 60+ countries. I do mosaic tiles, sing in Chinese Choir, work with wood in my spare time at home, find inspirations from my travels. So far some of those countries includes UK Ireland Scotland Belgium Italy France Spain Morocco Costa Rica Thailand Indonesia Burma India Canada Australia Honduras Guatemala Peru Ecuador China Japan Tibet...

We travel when we can, now my husband is retired we have more flexiblity. I have much freedom to come and go on my own and am clean dependable trustworthy. I have spent time with golden retriever , with intelligent Mainecoon cats, Viking cats, chickens, all kinds of plants and will prioritize my travel around your family needs for house sitting.
