Inès and Alison are incredibly kind hosts. Their home is homey, comfortable, easy to clean and kept tidy. The instructions provided are clear and the recommendations for local eats and other attractions are thoughtful as is other information that makes arriving and navigating from their home easy. We loved watching Freyja and Marieclaire, they have very strong personalities and are very much pets, not poultry, though they do lay eggs. The location of the home is great - across the street is a lovely walking/running/biking path that is dirt (my preference for running) and passes through trees and agricultural fields. Inès was generous and showed me how to make tortilla, a dish I love and often try to create. Access to Barcelona is very easy, plenty of grocery stores located in walking distance, as well as cafés. It is a friendly town. I would highly recommend this sit. Very kind, thoughtful hosts.

I am thrilled to write a review of my wonderful experience at the home of Alison and Ines in Llinars del Valles, outside of Barcelona! First of all, I'm grateful they took a chance on me, since it was my first time housesitting, and our first communication all the way up until the end of my stay was easy, fun and caring. They took careful steps to make sure I was comfortable and had so much information about their area, the trains, things to do, and places to see. I adore their cozy home with the glorious view of hills and fields. It's a short walk into town and the train station and it still felt very peaceful and like I was in the country. The large vegetable garden provided more vegetables than I could eat myself, so I was able to share them with friends and neighbours. I enjoyed the use of the bikes and Alison and Ines even introduced me to two lovely friends who met with me and were happy to visit and answer any questions too. The home is close to Barcelona by train, and I absolutely fell in love with the city and coastal beaches!! Another favourite aspect was getting to spend time with Louie, their adorable cat, who is social and loving and so easy to take care of!! C'était un bon moment à Barcelone ! Nouvel An, mais il faisait très chaud. Merveilleux chats affectueux Louis et Philippe. Les filles Alison et Inés sont très amicales et très accueillantes, avec lesquelles j'étais souvent en contact. Appartement sont très lumineux avec une vue magnifique sur la ville. De beaux souvenirs de ces jours merveilleux!
