Hi! We are Frans & Renée from the Netherlands and have been married for 30 years. For 8 years we're experienced house and pet sitting through Trusted House Sitters, and now new on Nomador. We are self employed and therefore flexible in time and place. We love to travel, new environments, cooking, eating, biking, hiking, skiing and being with friends.
With his philosophical background, Frans is always working on his ideas to make unprecedented talent available. I, Renée, work with him and also write life stories. My passion is classical singing, I sing in many semi-professional choirs in the Netherlands and often perform at home national and international.
We have one son Emile who lives on his own now. This gives us more space and time to expand our care taking activities. For more than 15 years, we have had our own care taking addresses, mostly from expats. This means we're very experienced! From the beginning we were hooked on taking responsibility for other people's homes, belongings and animals. That we take this responsibility seriously is evidenced by the fact that we are always asked back. We have even made some dear friendships.
We love taking care of living creatures, the personal contact with people and atmosphere in a house, the lively presence of animals and the adventure of a new environment. We always have cats ourselves and ask for petsitter in our own house to take care of her too. For us, the principle of sharing and caring is important.
As we are very experienced, dedicated and make sure everything is left very clean and tidy, I think we are interesting caretakers for anyone looking for a super reliable couple. References are available, important if you entrust your house and animal to a stranger. We look forward to new contacts for shorter or longer periods! Oh, and of course we don't smoke...(-;
