I have been house-sitting in California in the San Francisco Bay Area and Hawaii for 8 years. My love for pets, especially dogs and cats, and for travel, has made this a great profession for me! I am healthy, mature, reliable, active, responsible lady with lots of references from previous happy clients. Some of them even bark and meow! I am looking for longer-term stays, from 1 month on up in Europe or United States. I just completed a two month house-sit in Gramat, France, 2 months in Premiere, Switzerland, and 6 months in Le Gers, France.I speak fluent Spanish, native English. I use the internet to do some freelance work as a photographer and graphic designer during my stays. Your pets will definitely be photographed with frequent updates on their welfare and the up-keep progress of your home! I've also been an exchange student in Oaxaca, Mexico. I am trained to work with and have owned a Golden Lab Service Dog from CCI in Santa Rosa, so I understand dog behavior.

Janis was a fantastic petsitter and a lovely person to get to know! She was very responsive before and throughout the stay, which made planning and organising everything very smooth. She was very attentive with Milka, very caring, and very present too - our neighbours all confirmed that she was courteous, respectful, and friendly, and that Milka was clearly very happy with her while we were away. I would highly recommend Janis and I hope she'll come back to ours again :-)

Jan took loving care of our Maltese puppy and 2 cats. She took our pup to the beach often to play and on long walks and gave him lots of affection and stimulation. He thrived in our absence, which is what we had hoped for! Our rather skittish cats also took to her and did well while we were gone for a month. She did a great job of looking after everything.

Great experience! Janis was friendly to meet with, kept in touch, and kept everything clean and tidy at home. Dog also happy and settled when I got home. Thank you! I'd be glad to have Jan stay again. Happy travels!

Elle sait aisément entrer en relation avec l'entourage. Janis n'est pas compliquée dans ses besoins personnels. Elle est reconnaissante, joyeuse, débrouille.
