I love animals and I love homes. I often travel just to visit historic homes and museums. And when traveling, it is nice to have the comforts of home, including pets (especially when I am missing my own)!
I live with one lovely senior kitty, my husband is her companion when I travel. I am comfortable caring for and cleaning up after pets and giving them as much love as they can handle. I have also previously been owned by many dearly missed cats and two darling retrievers.
My husband and I retired a few years ago from our design/build business. I studied illustration in college and sidled into a career in graphic design. Before retirement I spent a decade as an interior designer committed to beautifying and protecting the cherished homes of my clients. We recently renovated our mid-century modest home and lovingly care for it.
Currently, my focus is as an artist and a writer, I travel to live like a local and be inspired. I am quiet, responsible, respectful, tidy, organized and forever non-smoking. Everything in its place.
In a nutshell (but not a nut ;), I love design, art, baking, biking, hiking, reading, yoga and cats.

Catherine was the perfect house sitter and the cats loved her right away. She is very responsible, clean and trust worthy I had no worries what so ever leaving her my home and the cats. I would have her over again anytime!

I was very happy to have Catherine stay in my home and look after my cat. She took great care of him and kept me well informed of his well being. She also took good care of my house, I found it how I left so that was all good as well. All in all I can definitely recommend Cat as a home/cat-sitter and will gladly ask her again when I'm traveling.
