In September and the last week in October and 2 first weeks in November 2026 I will not be available for taking care of animals.
I am 60 years old, no smoker, rather quiet person, like to keep all my things clean and in the right order, addicted to nature and books . Through my life I have lived and worked in the different countries and can adopt easily to the place and to the new situation. The cats and dogs were over years members of family. At the times I have lived in the houses with garden, I used to grow my own vegetables and flowers and have kept some farm animals.
I have spent many years before Covid commuting between Germany and Norway, now mostly staying in France and flying back occasionally to Norway and Germany. The possibility to work remotely after Covid time gave me the great flexibility for travelling(private and via Nomador). I retired in January 2025, but I still participate in some projects time from time.
I would greatly appreciate if you will give me an opportunity to take care of your property and will do my best to be a good replacement in time of your absence for all your big and little furry and feathery darlings.
I am experienced with giving the pills(the different ways) and administering the insulin shots, like to brush and cuddle and know a lot of cuddling words in Norwegian, German, English, French for all animals.
I am very thankful to all adoptive parents of animals(dogs, cats, goats, sheep, parrots, chicken, ducks, turtles, fishes), I have met since I discovered Nomador for their trust and I am humbled by their kind words about me.
I listed Kjetil as my possible travel companion, but I will explicitly mention by applying if he should travel with me for some days as he is not so flexible due to the work demanding his presence in person.
I often has thought that it is a pity that Kjetil didn’t have an opportunity to study and become a veterinarian as he not just loves animals, but he really has some special connection with them.
Kjetil is less in the books, but more in the music and sport.
P.S. Well, I wanted to mention my disadvantages . I don’t mind the cold, rain, fog, snow or dark time, but I have not been coping well with hot weather through my whole life, so I unfortunately can’t take the assignments in the places where it is always hot and not only heat wave over some days.
I am less curious how your house/apartment is furnished and don’t need the video guiding tour by our initial video call, except if there are cases that we don’t meet in person before your departure, but than also only essential places, such as the storage of animals belongings plus the locations of electricity board, general valve to shut down the water/ gas supply.
But I appreciate very much, if there are some curtains/shutters in the room I will be staying, so it will be possible to make darker for the night and if it is a bed. The sleeping sofa is certainly a good invention for some nights, but for the many weeks or months it can be very challenging☺️.
I am a calm person and I don’t produce unnecessary noises self, so it is rather advantage for animals and neighbours to have me around. Our apartments in Düsseldorf and Oslo are located in the quiet areas, so I apply only for the quiet areas and kindly ask to let me know, if there are already planned and known to you some construction works straight direct to you house/apartment in the time I should take care of your property and animals.

Solveig est une personne adorable. Mon départ à du être anticipé de quelques jours, elle s'est adaptée. La communication a toujours était fluide et très facile. Solveig à prit soin de Roxy comme ci c'était son chat. Elle l'a gâtée. Nous avons également reçu des cadeaux de la part de Solveig pour Noël. Elle fait tout pour nous rendre la vie plus facile, c'est une personne formidable. Je recommande vivement Solveig pour qu'elle puisse venir garder vos animaux et prendre soin de votre maison.

From the very first contact, I knew that Solveig was a cat lover. Solveig is a very friendly and interesting person. When she arrived, she wanted to do everything right and asked all the questions she needed to. Solveig not only took perfect care of our cats, but from the videos and photos she sent regularly, I could see that in just a few weeks she had managed to win over our cats, especially Chaya, who is very shy and special. We also found our house in immaculate condition. We are extremely grateful and hope that Solveig will agree to come back. THANK YOU

Nous étions ravis d'accueillir de nouveau Solveig pour nos vacances car nous savions nos chats entre de très bonnes mains. Malheureusement, notre petite mamie chatte Suzanne a eu un grave problème de santé, une infection carabinée, (en plus de l'insuffisance rénale qui était parfaitement gérée par Solveig). La situation est vraiment devenue critique selon les mots à postiori de la vétérinaire, et Solveig était très fortement sollicitée, le jour, la nuit, bref, malgré toute la confiance que nous faisions à Solveig, nous avons pris la décision de rentrer urgemment pour la soulager et être auprès de notre petite chatte dans ce moment si difficile pour elle. Cela a été un moment difficile pour tout le monde. La petite chatte a survécu. Nous voulons redire ici combien Solveig est une personne attentive et extrêmement responsable. Lui confier vos animaux est la meilleure chose que vous puissiez faire pour partir en toute sérénité.

Solveig est une personne adorable, indépendante, respectueuse et de confiance absolue ! Nous avons eu confiance en elle dès notre première rencontre, car on sentait bien qu’elle saurait gérer les chats et la maison sans problèmes et sans inquiétudes. Elle s’en est occupée de notre maison et nos 2 chats pendant notre séjour de 4 semaines à l’étranger et tout se très, très bien passé ☺️ Nous avons reçu des photos et des vidéos de nos chats tout les jours et on voyait bien qu’elle aime les chats et qu’ils l’aime aussi… même notre chatte Lykke qui est plutôt sauvage et timide semblait apprécier Solveig 😊 A notre retour la maison était vraiment impeccable et les chats était beaux, heureux et en bonne santé. Donc nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation Solveig pour d’autres missions, car nous avons été ravis et sommes reconnaissant de son aide et sa présence !
