Hi, and thank you for considering me for your pet sit needs. Please note that I am currently in England and will be in Europe May-Oct 2025.
I am a tidy, non-smoking animal lover who has had pets for most of my life, volunteered with animal-based non-profit organizations and have completed over 60 pet sits for more than 150 pets around the world. I am certified in Pet First Aid by the ASPCA and have administered insulin shots, pet pills, inhalers, special food, eye drops and ear medication to furry friends. I've even bushed a dog's teeth. I'll follow your instructions to maintain your pet's daily routine.
I'll take wonderful care of both your pets and your home. My most recent pets were 2 Shelties and a rescued kitten, all of who lived 12-18 years. I have extensive experience with both older pets and energetic puppies and kittens. I've owned homes for over 20 years, so I understand what it takes to protect and care for homes and property. I have the pet and home sitting experience you're looking for!
I work part time for TrustedHousesitters. I often travel without my husband, who is a tour guide in the spring and fall in the US. That's when I pet sit. It gives me a way to learn what it's like to live in a new area, explore, and fill my life with the love of non-human friends. It's a great way to keep from missing my husband (too much)!
I love animals, meeting new people, exploring new places and being of service. I'd love to care for and play with your furry friends as part of my travels. I'm happy to communicate as often as you'd like while you're away.

Nous sommes vraiment ravies que Karen soit venue s'occuper de notre chat Nouch. Elle a pris grand soin de Nouch de nos plantes et de notre appartement durant notre absence. Il etait tres agrèable de recevoir des nouvelles et des photos régulièrement, c'était très rassurant. A notre retour, nous avons retrouvé notre appartement nickel ! Karen est vraiment une personne de confiance. Nous la recommandons sans hésiter et nous ferons appel à elle à nouveau les yeux fermés. Un grand merci
