I love animals. I especially like cats, I've had 6 pairs growing up and one as an adult. Pretty much all cats like me. I am good with most dogs too (Had two growing up and get on well with all my friends dogs). I've kept fish for a few years. I'd like the opportunity to broaden my experience, I am very good at following instructions. I'm adept at fixing things and solving problems. Handy with plumbing, electrics, carpentry, brickwork. Usually able to cobble together a solution even without the right tools or materials. I am currently on a sabbatical and am looking for some downtime where I can relax away from home without spending a fortune on accommodation. Ideally I'll find somewhere nice with a lovely pet or pets to keep me company while I read novels and potter about being tidy and helpful. I will probably clean your windows! No doubt you'll be able to go away and not worry about your pet or your home as I will make sure they're both well looked after. I'm grateful for your consideration and hope that you'll pick me!
PS As there's a section about travelling companions on the website so I thought I should say, I am traveling with my lovely girlfriend Gun who was a great help on my/our last house sit.
PPS Actually I am not with Gun at the moment but I do intend to make my way back to Thailand so that we can be together again in a month or few. (So rather than delete the above now I'll delete this later!)

Donnie & Kayla were an absolute dream team of house and pet sitters — we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the first message, communication was relaxed, clear, and easy. They arrived a few days before our departure, which gave us the chance to share a few beers, chat, and get to know each other — it was immediately clear we were leaving our home and animals in great hands. Gus (our Frenchie) isn’t always the easiest character, but he took to Donnie almost immediately — their bond was so natural we joked that Gus might prefer him to us! Frank (our distinguished elder cat) and Wallis (our shy but sweet younger one) also warmed up quickly. It was lovely to hear how their personalities were understood and appreciated. Throughout the month, Donnie and Kayla sent regular, thoughtful updates in our WhatsApp group — not just the usual "everything's fine" but actual glimpses into daily life with the pets, complete with great photos and the occasional hilarious Gus anecdote. Donnie and Kayla were the absolute best house/dog sitter we could have hoped for. Our dog Abbie had a wonderful time, the apartment was spotless when we got back and we got regulars updates of all the fun times and adventures they were going on. Would 100%% ask them both back again in the future and 100%% recommend them to anyone who is looking for a house/dogsitter, they are both wonderful people!

Donnie has cat-sat for us three times now, and each time he's gone way above and beyond the call of duty. He is exceptionally responsible, caring and kind, takes care of the house and is amazing at dealing with any issues that may arise. He communicates regularly, including lots of lovely pictures of our Gandhi girl, and doesn't just watch and feed her - he interacts with her and makes sure she feels safe and loved, just like she were his own. We trust him completely and recommend him without any reservations!

If your looking for a reliable honest friendly animal lover ,then look no further Donnie is your guy . We were away for 16 days ,he did some great DIY jobs in our house and took great care of our 6 dogs and ginger cat .glad we could spend another week together after the sit,and now I also have a new friend .
