Hello, we are Geert (Belgian) & Valentina (Italian). We are new to this platform but have been housesitting over 10 years, mainly via trustedhousesitters. At the bottom you can find a link to our profile and see our reviews but here it goes:
We are a non-smoking pet-lovers housesitting around the world. The nature of our job allows us to work remotely so we often jump in our car or on a plane and head out to different destinations.
Your house and pets are in safe hands and we treat it as if they were ours. We prefer a nice evening playing board games with a glass of wine, watching a movie, or going out for an evening activity. During the day, we're at work from home and enjoy the company of the pets. Going for walks is an ideal excuse to get us away from the laptop :).
Our other interests are mainly outdoors like discovering the area on bike / foot / car, we really like to hike during all seasons, and to go to local events.

We were lucky enough to have Valentina and Geert watching our three cats while we were away for 10 days. They are very friendly and organized so all communication was very clear both before and during the stay. When they arrived we had a lovely dinner together and while we were away they sent daily updates for all the cats, who were clearly well taken care of. Even the cat who is scared of strangers was cuddling with them after a few days :) When we got back the apartment was spotless and the cats were happy and content. We would highly recommend Geert and Valentina for house- and pet sitting, they are great people!
