Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Ciao, Szia!
We are a small but mighty family of three with a beautiful kind old-soul of a son Henri who is soon-to-be 12 years old, my husband and partner in life James, a professional Landscape Architect, and myself a Senior School Teacher of History, Humanities and French. With our bags in tow beginning in July 2024, we are looking forward to a full year of traveling, exploration and discovery, learning! We plan to reconnect with each other, with this beautiful planet and with all the many wonderful people around the world.
We love the outdoors, the serenity that rural life can provide, but we equally appreciate the liveliness and excitement of the urban center that engages all our senses and fills our mind. We have the best of both worlds where we live just outside of Toronto, Canada with our sweet Golden Doodle Izzy.
Sadly, since Izzy was a baby, travelling has unfortunately been terribly challenging for her, so it will be with a heavy heart that we leave her in the care of loving family and neighbours for the year we are gone. The opportunity to interact with new animal friends however, would make facing the eventual separation just a little bit easier.
We are a very trustworthy and dedicated family. We pride ourselves on our integrity, our sense of responsibility and our passion for ongoing growth and fulfilment as lifelong learners.
We would love the opportunity to provide those looking for sitters here on Nomador, the opportunity to leave with excitement but also peace of mind that their home and animal family will be very well-cared for, while we embrace the opportunity to live locally - short term or long, and to build amazing memories together.

Foncez à 1000 % ! Nous avons retrouvé la maison mieux rangée que lorsque nous sommes partis. Ils sont adorables. Ils sont très organisés mais très très organisés (j’ai trouvé mieux que moi :D). Les animaux ont été en vacances aussi et ont bien mangés. Henri est un jeune garçon discret mais polis, surprenant et curieux. Il sera un jeune adulte Discussion aisée par WhatsApp pour organiser leur venue.

La famille Collins a été absolument parfaite ! Nous avons retrouvé la maison parfaitement rangée, le jardin bien entretenu ! Les Collins se sont super bien occupés de notre chien Lancelot et de nos poules ! Ce sont des gens très chaleureux et soucieux que tout se passe le mieux possible ! Nous ne pouvons que les recommander pour d’autres garde maisons ! Nous nous sommes liés d’amitié et promis de se revoir !
