Hello everyone! We are Carissa and Alex, a kind and loving couple from Vancouver Island in Canada. I (Carissa) am a clinical counsellor, somatic therapist, and author, and my partner, Alex, is a professional visual artist and podcast host. We are presently travelling the world as digital nomads, so we are available to be at home with your loving pets while we work online during the day. We are both respectful professionals, have a passion for nature, travel, holistic living, and we love animals!
We have extensive experience house and pet-sitting in Canada, France, UK, the Netherlands, Australia, and the USA, and are happy to share references upon request.
As we are presently exploring the world, we have found that it is a lovely and grounding experience to be able to stay in a home and take care of animals. It has also been a wonderful way to meet new people and experience new areas that we otherwise may not have had the opportunity to discover!

Amsterdam, Netherlands - December 2024
Carissa and Alex stayed at our home for about a month, and took care of our 2 cats. This was the first time we used a home-sitting service and we were a little apprehensive at start..but this couldn't have gone better. Truly such a positive experience with this lovely couple caring for our home, plants & pets. Carissa and Alex are trustworthy, communicative and sweet. They treated our house like their home. We got constant updates, including photos, and our cats (who aren't that social with strangers) really loved them. We felt secure and relaxed having Carissa & Alex taking care of our place. They are tidy, respectful and all around kind, lovely people. We would recommend them without a doubt, and actually hope to have them over whenever possible again.

C'était un plaisir d'accueillir et de faire la connaissance de Carissa et Alex ! C'est un couple très sympathique et charmant : souriants, respectueux, intéressants. Ils ont très bien su s'occuper de nos petits chats et de la maison. Ils nous ont envoyé des nouvelles fréquemment et spontanément, ce qui est toujours très appréciable ! Ils nous ont reçu "chez nous" ;-) à notre retour avec un très bon dîner qu'ils avaient préparé. Cerise sur le gâteau, Carissa s'est occupée de laver leurs draps/ serviettes etc. et de tout remettre en place avant leur départ ! Parfait ! Nous les recommandons sans hésitation !
