Cat parents, travelers, we live in Quebec and we both speak French and English.

We love nature in all its forms: the simplicity and kindness of humanity, consuming the least processed food possible, admiring breathtaking landscapes, and engaging in enriching interactions with animals because their love and affection in return is priceless !

I practice yoga and meditation, gardening, cooking, DIY projects, crochet & knitting, and playing with my cat after grooming. We enjoy outdoor walks with or without a dog. We are non-smoker and have traveled several times in Europe.

My animal journey has been diverse: from owning Labrador and Shih Tzu, to hens, Boer goats, an iguana, and now a playful cat. I even had the opportunity to care for a horse at a boarding stable and give him exercise by riding him + basic cares, where I used to clean stalls, and I also assisted neighbors with shearing their alpacas. My husband lived on a farm with crops and pigsty. As a result, we fully understand animals need for attentive, loving, and reliable care.

We travel a lot now that our children are young adults. My husband and I have been house-sitting 3 times in 2024 through another pet sitter app and we've met wonderful people. We are grateful to our employers for allowing us to work remotely in the insurance industry for me, and my husband as IT analyst, which enables us to travel and explore new places, meet people, and immerse ourselves in different cultures. Thus, combining our passion for travel with our love for animals as pet sitters is a cherished opportunity. Our goal is to ensure that your pet(s) feels loved and secure in your absence. Additionally, we take meticulous care to keep your place clean, and comfortable for your pet, providing the kind of service that we would want for our own cat and place.

I wish there was a GOLD star I could leave, something that indicates your sitter was a step up from five star! Truly everything about Julie was wonderful. I felt she looked after Rufus, my dog, the house and my plants, inside and outside in the garden, as though they were her own. She had a very special quality about her which enabled me to leave with complete confidence that my beloved dog and home would be so well cared for and it was. Meeting Julie made me aware that the whole Trusted House sitters experience was so much more than just finding someone to be there whilst you are away. You meet wonderful people also and feel so happy that they are in your life, even just for a short time. Thank you Julie for being you and bringing your special qualities to you sit.

Julie and JR were very communicative leading up to their stay, and when I came home my cat was as happy as could be! My place was clean, the plants were watered and they even left a little something extra. Julie and Jean-René were the perfect sitters.
