This was our first sitting experience through the Nomador platform and we truly had a wonderful experience and time. Virginie, Marc Antoine and their two children were lovely and very inviting, welcoming us into their home. After showing us around their house full of plants, the terraced vegetable and fruit garden and a green house we shared a lovely meal together that Virginie had prepared. We went over the caring and feeding routines of the two cats, the exotic axolotl, the six hens, one rooster, and the countless fish in the pond before the family left us and their pride and joy in our care. We enjoyed taking care of the animal bunch and being able to prepare lovely meals from the fruit and vegetables of the garden and the eggs from the chickens. The house is located in a quiet, green area near the forest and river and the modern but homy conservatory gave a beautiful peaceful view over hills covered with trees. At the same time the bus stop was just around the corner. A 20 minute bus ride would bring us into Dijon which is a lovely city to explore and in only a 15 minutes there is a lake where you can enjoy days of sunbathing, swimming, walking, exercising, or performances with a picnic. The two cats were lovely individuals and best buddies. Monty loves attention and was always looking out for our company. Miu-Miu is a shy and fearful character, but in the presence of his guardian angel Monty, he slowly came to realise that he also wanted to be petted every once in a while :). The chickens and rooster were always eagerly waiting for us to deliver their breakfast and the axolotl was interesting to observe during feeding times. On the families return we exchanged stories. We had a wonderful relaxing experience and can highly recommend this house sit. Patrick & Sylvia
