We are a family of 3 doing homeexchange (change homes with other families simultaneously) for about 12 years now. We love pets and farm live and therefore we would like to sit your house&pets as this is the best way to "feel like an insider" in another town or country. We had wonderful experiences already with homeexchange people around the wolrd (look for our ratings on that side) and hope to make them here as well. We already took care about dogs, cats, sheeps, fishes and big gardens and small farms.
We here in Karlsruhe have 2 cats which are "home cats" so, they cant go out (one has only 3 feets). They are independent but love to have caressing hands for enjoy and play :-)
Here you have all our home ammenities including bike, a big garden with vegetables etc.
We would love to travel either alone or as family.

I had a great time. The chats are friendly and no trouble, the house is cosy and Karlsruhe is surprising : a city with lots to do and see, but also very green. Just loved it !

These ten days at Gesa's home were a very good experience. First of all, the two cats, Sissi and Masha, are very cute and friendly. They are used to see new people so they were very welcoming and they trusted us quickly. They have different personalities that are complementary : Sissi is extravert and playful whereas Masha is more of an introvert but she also loves being cuddled. The apartment is spacious, very calm and with 2 balconies. It is well furnished. The neighborhood is nice too : calm, with a grocery store, well connected to public transports. We used our bicycles, it was very convenient to use them since there are a lot of bicycle roads in Germany. Gesa was very welcoming, available by messages and she gave us a lot of good advice to discover the beautiful surroundings of Karlsruhe : the lakes to swim, the Black Forest, the Rhin, etc. Thank you again ! Gesa is used to receiving people at her home : her family has done a lot of home exchanges before. There is a guest book with all important information for daily life, it was very useful. She can speak English and French. Finally, the family has a remote garden (10 minutes by walking from the apartment) that is very peaceful and where we had the possibility to take vegetables.
