Hello Friends,
All my life I have been a caregiver, to children, animals, homes and gardens and the elderly. The primary family home during my childhood was on a 88 acre hobby farm, with more pasture and lakes than animals. It was part of my childhood to help care for all the barnyard animals and domestic animals.
Most significant for these purposes is the care I provided for cats, dogs, and the homes and gardens as an adult. For 5 years while I was exploring the possibility of moving to Salt Spring Island I cared (several repeatedly) for multiple pets in 9 households. During this time I would “sit” for 2 weeks to 3 months, each position a referral to the next. Since at the time I hadn’t considered doing this beyond that exploration I didn’t obtain references or photos.
As a requirement of this profile I have requested references from a few people with whom I am still in contact.

Here is a reference letter I have received from a WorkAway position I had in France.
