As a family
I am a semi-retired teacher who is looking to travel and experience life in various parts of the world. I have 3 goats, 2 geese and 4 cats. I used to have a Great Dane, who lived to be 16. I love animals and see caring for them as a wonderful benefit. Since I do have my own animals, either my daughter or husband would stay home with them while the other 2 of us could travel.

I had the pleasure of hosting Carol and her daughter Gideon for two weeks. Before leaving, I was a little worried, as two of my cats are quite elderly and weren’t feeling well just before my trip, and I was also dealing with a small plant pest issue. Carol was incredibly independent and managed everything beautifully on her own. I hardly heard from her during the stay, which reassured me that things were going smoothly. When I returned, everything was in good order, my cats were happy and healthy, and not a single plant had died! She also made a clear effort to leave the place clean and tidy, which I truly appreciate. I’m very grateful to Carol and Gideon for taking such good care of my home and pets and allowing me to fully enjoy my holidays without stress. I would happily welcome them back anytime!
