Juliane und Paul

I spent 3.5 weeks in a true winter wonderland at Juliane and Paul’s: a wonderful house set in a fairy-tale winter landscape. As always, it was a real pleasure, with warm and reliable communication with the hosts both before and during my stay. Tilda and Luna were, as usual, the very best companions and incredibly cuddly. One important note for future sitters: there are many ticks on the property, even in winter, especially as the weather was mild during the first days of my stay. The cats are not treated preventively against ticks, and the hosts explicitly expect sitters to remove any ticks manually. This requires experience and the ability to keep the cats calm. During my stay, small wounds did occur as a result of tick removal, which future sitters should be aware of. If you are comfortable handling this, it is a truly wonderful place to stay.

This was my sixth house sit with Juliane and Paul, and just like every time before, it was a dream! Their house is absolutely idyllic, with a fantastic garden that feels like a peaceful retreat. The two cats are the sweetest companions, and caring for them is always a joy. I had a beautiful time again. The only small challenge this summer was the number of ticks; the cats were a bit bothered, but with some extra care it was easy to handle. I’m very grateful for Juliane’s and Paul’s trust and I look forward to many more stays in this wonderful place.

Ich war inzwischen schon zum fünften Mal bei Juliane und Paul und kann einen Aufenthalt bei ihnen voll und ganz empfehlen. Die Katzen sind sehr pflegeleicht, zutraulich und verschmust, der Kontakt zu den Hosts ist herzlich und unkompliziert, und Haus sowie Umgebung sind einfach paradiesisch. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf das nächste Sitting!
