Hi! We’re Marina and Damien, a Spanish-French couple traveling with Boule, our calm, sociable, and well-trained border collie. Damien’s career is about hospitality entrepreneur and consulting , and I (Marina) am an online educator in pedagogy. I work remotely full-time, which allows me to be present and fully available to care for both home and animals.

We’re passionate about nature, animals, and discovering new places in a respectful and meaningful way. Boule is part of our everyday life—whether we’re out hiking, exploring, or simply enjoying a quiet day in the countryside, she’s always with us.

We’re currently exploring Switzerland with the idea of potentially moving here in the future. We truly understand how difficult it can be to leave your home and, more importantly, your beloved pets in the care of someone you don’t know. That’s why we are more than happy to have a video call or meet in person whenever possible. Trust is built through honest communication and empathy, and we’re fully committed to making you feel secure and confident in your decision.

We love spending time with animals and believe that caring for them while traveling is a wonderful way to experience life in new places. House and pet sitting allows us to enjoy a slower, more meaningful way of discovering the world—one that’s based on mutual trust and respect.

Right now, we’re hoping to explore more of Switzerland—not just as tourists, but in a way that lets us really get to know the country. We’re not interested in rushing from one hotel to another. Instead, we value staying longer in each place, living more like locals, and keeping things simple and intentional.

Of course, we’re aware this is an exchange: we have the privilege of staying in your home, and in return, we take our responsibility seriously, looking after your animals, your space, and your peace of mind with care and reliability. We understand the emotional connection between humans and animals, and we do our best to keep them happy and safe in your absence.

We have experience house sitting and caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, gardens, and even horses. Damien has worked in riding stables and practiced vaulting for many years. His teenage years were strongly shaped by being around horses. We have also had geese and chickens and until 2024, Kyra, our Golden Retriever, was also part of our family. She passed away at the age of 14, which taught us a great deal about the needs and adaptations required by senior animals. Boule has always been with us, so she is used to living alongside many different kinds of animals, including cats.

We greatly value the opportunity to speak with homeowners in advance to clearly understand their expectations and the specific needs of their home and pets. During the stay, we keep in regular contact with the owners, sending updates to ensure they feel reassured and connected at all times.
