Hello! We’re Gillian and Nathan, a professional couple in our mid-forties with a shared love of nature, animals and travel. As we don’t have children, we have the freedom to explore new places and fully immerse ourselves in different cultures.
We both love pets and have extensive experience caring for birds and dogs. Both of us grew up with a range of pets in the house, including smaller animals such as guinea pigs and mice. We are both comfortable with a range of other animals. Nathan has kept, bred and cared for tropical fish for almost 30 years. We previously owned a professional portrait photography studio, and Nathan has a unique skill and way of interacting with, and gaining an animal's trust (Especially dogs).
Gillian is a elementary school music teacher with a Master’s degree in early childhood music education. She brings a gentle, nurturing energy and passion for caring for animals. Nathan is a leadership trainer and coach with an MBA, whose work focuses on helping people and teams thrive.
We’re taking a year off to explore beautiful France — learning the language, embracing local life, and enjoying everything from countryside walks to village markets. As homeowners ourselves, we understand the importance of leaving your home and pets in reliable, caring hands. We take great pride in being respectful, tidy, and responsible sitters who will treat your pets and property as if they were our own.
