As a couple/duo
We are a retired couple from New Zealand, travelling slowly in France this summer. We are both retired doctors and are calm, practical, tidy and non-smoking. Back in New Zealand we live on a lifestyle block with animals — chickens, sheep, & previously pigs — and we have an elderly Labrador who is a much-loved family member. We miss her while travelling, which is one reason we are keen to spend time caring for pets while we are in France. We are currently looking after a friend's dog in a quiet rural part of south-west France while they are on holiday, although we are new to pet-sitting websites. We understand how important routines are, and we’re happy to follow your usual arrangements for walks, feeding, company, and medication if needed. We enjoy walking, markets and quiet evenings, and we are very happy spending time at home with pets rather than rushing around sightseeing. We would treat your home carefully and keep you updated while you are away. We are also enjoying improving our French while we travel and are happy communicating in either English or simple French.

Des personnes humaines et fantastiques. John est un virtuose de la cuisine. Ils laissent une maison propre et nette. Les animaux ont été choyés et les plantes arrosées. Le jardin a été tondu et entretenu. Quoi de mieux ?
