2 Cats

Rupert is our handsome brown Suffolk cat with a calm, affectionate nature. He absolutely loves cuddles and will happily curl up beside you whenever he gets the chance. Rupert is gentle, laid-back, and enjoys the quieter things in life — a cosy spot, a warm lap, and keeping a watchful eye on everything going on around him. He has a sweet, reassuring presence and quickly wins people over with his loving personality.

Jory, our playful Cornish Rex, is full of character and never shy about making himself heard. He’s very vocal and loves “chatting” throughout the day, especially when he wants attention or food. Like Rupert, he adores cuddles and being close to people, but he also has a mischievous, energetic streak and is always curious about what’s happening. Jory is affectionate, entertaining, and brings a lot of fun and personality into the house.

Diet & Routine
Rupert and Jory are both fed a combination of dry and wet food. Their dry food is dispensed throughout the day via an automatic timer feeder, and they are given wet food once daily. Fresh water is always available.

Medication
Neither Rupert nor Jory require any medication.

House

Pier House is a charming detached waterfront home in Tarbert, full of character and warmth. This beautiful listed property combines traditional features with a cosy, welcoming feel, making it a lovely place to spend time and care for Rupert and Jory.

The house enjoys sea views and a peaceful setting right by the waterfront. Inside, there is a large comfortable living room, a separate dining room with a wood-burning stove and exposed stonework, a well-equipped kitchen, three bedrooms (two doubles and one single), a bathroom and an additional toilet.

The house has a calm, homely atmosphere with original character throughout, and is especially cosy in the evenings with the fire lit. It is very much a lived-in and loved home rather than a minimalist holiday property, and we are looking for someone who will enjoy and care for it in the same way while looking after the cats.
