Paris

Nous avons passé 3 semaines très agréables chez Michèle en compagnie de Moune et Mao. L'appartement, spacieux, a les petits plus suivants : grand balcon sur parc, baignoire et climatisation. Les chats sont adorables. Et les discussions avec Michèle sont faciles et enrichissantes. Je ne peux que recommander !

Michele is a unique and wonderful host. From the first moment, we felt like we were at home. We came to say hello three weeks before the start of the housesit, right after arriving in Europe from Australia. (We flew into Paris from Sydney, as it was the most convenient flight, and then began our European adventure.) So, after the 24-hour flight from Sydney, we came to say hello. Michele served us breakfast, and we met Moon and Mao. We felt very welcomed and warm. Then, when we arrived three weeks later to start the housesit, we came a day early, and Michele treated us to dinner. We stayed at her place that night. We loved our conversations with Michele! We found a lot in common and thoroughly enjoyed her company. Michele is an amazing woman—an advocate, former publisher, and writer. She is highly educated, incredibly intelligent, and very helpful. Her home is filled with interesting books, many of which she authored herself. Moon and Mao are amazing cats. They became our real friends. It was very easy and pleasant to care for them, play with them, and cuddle with them. They are really intelligent and fun creatures. They were like dogs in many ways—very social, playful, and engaging. We fell in love with them. The place is super comfortable, bright, and full of light and air. The apartment is fully equipped with everything—literally everything. It’s also perfectly located, with metro and bus stops just a 5-minute walk away. In 20-30 minutes, you can be in the center of Paris. Everything you need is within walking distance—big supermarkets, markets, the biggest flea market, Gare Montparnasse, and Montparnasse Cemetery. You can even walk to the Eiffel Tower! There’s also a big green park with a pond nearby. We truly fell in love with Michele, Mao, and Moon. We miss them a lot and hope to return one day.
