My partner Geoff and I are both artists and our bases are Sydney - Australia and Navacelles - France. We've been on artist residencies and travelling overseas taking on a lot of house and pet sitting assignments since 2010 through various websites(we were members of Housecarers.com, then Trustedhousesitters.com and now Nomador.
- I, (Kristine-65) was born in France and migrated to Sydney in 1989. I graduated from one of the top French business schools in 1981 (EM Lyon) and started a corporate life in Sydney. However, I changed direction in 1999, when I became a fine art student in Sydney for 3 years. I have been practising art ever since. My whole family lives in France.
- Geoff (74) was born in Sydney. He also holds a British passport, which allows him to spend unlimited time in Europe. Geoff started in life as a lawyer in Sydney but after five years gave it up to pursue an art practice. He has been teaching art at Sydney University and various art institutions in Sydney to support his art practice.
We both have extensive experience in building renovation and are very fit young retirees.
- We have been sharing life and our passion for art and travel over the last 25 years and, although we both love Sydney where I own investment units, we enjoy living in different places to fuel our inspiration.
Over the past 20 years, we've travelled a lot, producing artwork in Italy, working and exhibiting in France (Paris) and Vietnam (Hanoi and Hue), as well as visiting many other countries including China, India, Morocco, Cambodia, Chile, Bolivia, Belize and the cities of London and New York. We have house sat in Greece, Italy, Vietnam, Spain, France and Australia.
Given our respective ages, I can say that we are mature, experienced, resourceful, responsible and we assure you that your home, garden and your pets will be loved in our care.

Un beau séjour dans une belle maison au milieu d'une très belle région. Rocky le Jack Russell est remarquable, c'est un vrai compagnon très attachant. Merci à Kristin et Geoff de nous avoir permis de passer un très agréable séjour. Didier et Isabelle.

Je suis resté plus d'un mois aux côtés de Rocky avec qui j'ai pu partager de très bons moments de complicité. C'est un chien très gentil et facile à vivre. Sa compagnie a été un vrai bonheur au quotidien. En plus d'une maison charmante décorée avec goût, sa présence a largement contribué à rendre mes semaines sur place agréables. Kristine et Geoff m'ont chaleureusement accueilli avant de prendre le temps de bien me présenter les points importants à connaitre sur leur propriété et la garde de Rocky. Ils sont restés disponibles et réactifs tout au long de mon séjour, ce qui m'a permis de profiter sereinement des lieux. Je ne regrette pas ma garde à Navacelles, et remercie encore Rocky et ses propriétaires pour leur confiance.

Un séjour de 2 semaines auprès de Rocky dans une maison très agréable, bien rénovée et bien décorée où il fait bon vivre. On s’y sent vraiment bien! Un accueil très convivial de la part de Christine et Geoff avec qui j’ai bien échangé et qui m’ont reçue comme une amie. La campagne environnante est sympa pour s’y promener et y balader Rocky. Et plus loin, de petites villes où il fait bon flâner comme Uzès et de jolis villages à découvrir. C’était une très belle expérience! Merci pour votre confiance!

We were warmly welcomed by Kristine, Geoff and Rocky to their most beautiful piece of paradise in the French Countryside. They are a kind, relaxed and organised couple who are easy to get to know. It was our pleasure to stay in their home and look after the gardens and pool… not to mention the cute and cuddly Rocky who never missed the chance of a cuddle up on the couch or some rough play before tea. They provided us with great clear instructions, a lovely guest room with ensuite, and loads of tips for travel in the area but really we just wanted to hang out and enjoy the beautiful indoor/outdoor spaces they have created. We highly recommend housesitting for Kristine and Geoff - I know you’ll love it!
