As a family
We’re a couple in our early forties. We welcomed our son Quinn into the world in June 2022. We’re avid travelers, even having a young son, and above all language enthusiasts. I grew up in the countryside in northern Nevada, USA where I maintained the family vegetable garden and a large yard with grass, bushes, trees and flowers. Isabel grew up in the city in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Quinn was born in Alsace, France. We both grew up around animals and love the energy and warmth they bring with their presence. I was fortunate enough to have grown up with three dogs, a Springer Spaniel, a Husky and an American Staffordshire Terrier as well as two cats and an Iguana. I was formerly a Coordinator of Graduate Admissions at Missouri State University (MSU) and Isabel was an English Instructor at MSU. I was a language assistant at a Lycée and Collège in Rochefort, France. After traveling around France for two years, we've settled in Alsace near the German border. We have years of experience on AirBnB where we’ve stayed in others’ homes with and without them. Nous sommes un couple dans la quarantines. Nous sommes des voyageurs passionnés et des passionnés de langues. J'ai grandi dans la campagne du nord du Nevada, aux États-Unis, et Isabel a grandi dans la ville de Belo Horizonte, au Brésil. Nous avons tous deux grandi autour des animaux et aimons l'énergie et la chaleur qu'ils apportent avec leur présence. Maintenant, nous habitons en Alsace, proche à la frontier allemand. Nous sommes plutôt nouveaux dans le monde de "pet sitting", mais nous avons des années d’expérience sur AirBnB, où nous sommes restés chez d’autres personnes avec ou sans eux. Being there for some days was a great and relaxing experience. The owners are extremely kind and let the apartment ready to have us. The location of the building is perfect because it is a quiet place and it is close to a tram stop as well as a bus stop making it easy to access Strasbourg historical center as much as Germany. We would definitely recommend this apartment as a place to stay when you go to Strasbourg.

We want to thank Michael and Isabel for taking such good care of our two cats and our home. We received updates regularly and when we came back, our cats were happy and the flat clean. Für uns war es das erste Mal, dass wir ein Housesitting in Anspruch nahmen und wir sind absolut begeistert. Mike und Isabel haben unsere Wohnung, unsere Haustiere und den Garten sehr gut betreut und gepflegt. Fast täglich sandten sie uns ein kurzes Whatsapp mit einem Foto von unserer Katze oder von den besuchten Ausflugszielen in der Schweiz. Zusammen mit ihrem Sohn genossen sie die Wohnung, den Garten und entdeckten die Umgebung. Abwechslungsweise gönnten sich die Eltern einen Tagausflug allein und entdeckten die schönsten Wanderrouten der Schweiz. Mike und Isabel sind sehr kommunikativ, sehr rücksichtsvoll und absolut zuverlässig. Da wir zwischendurch einige Tage gemeinsam im Haus verbrachten, entwickelte sich eine vertrauensvolle und freundschaftliche Beziehung. Wir danken Mike und Isabel herzlich für ihre Dienste während unserer Abwesenheit und für das grosszügige Bestücken des Kühlschranks vor unserer Rückkehr. Mike und Isabel sind wunderbare Housesitter, wie man sich nur wünschen kann.
