As a family
We’re a couple in our early forties. We welcomed our son Quinn into the world in June 2022. We’re avid travelers, even having a young son, and above all language enthusiasts. I grew up in the countryside in northern Nevada, USA where I maintained the family vegetable garden and a large yard with grass, bushes, trees and flowers. Isabel grew up in the city in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Quinn was born in Alsace, France. We both grew up around animals and love the energy and warmth they bring with their presence. I was fortunate enough to have grown up with three dogs, a Springer Spaniel, a Husky and an American Staffordshire Terrier as well as two cats and an Iguana. I was formerly a Coordinator of Graduate Admissions at Missouri State University (MSU) and Isabel was an English Instructor at MSU. I was a language assistant at a Lycée and Collège in Rochefort, France. After traveling around France for two years, we've settled in Alsace near the German border. Nous sommes un couple dans la quarantines. Nous sommes des voyageurs passionnés et des passionnés de langues. J'ai grandi dans la campagne du nord du Nevada, aux États-Unis, et Isabel a grandi dans la ville de Belo Horizonte, au Brésil. Nous avons tous deux grandi autour des animaux et aimons l'énergie et la chaleur qu'ils apportent avec leur présence. J'ai eu la chance de grandir avec trois chiens, un Springer Spaniel, un Husky et un Staffordshire Terrier américain, ainsi que deux chats et un iguane. Auparavant, j'étais coordinateur des admissions aux études supérieures à la Missouri State University (MSU) et Isabel était professeure d'anglais à la MSU. Nous avons demenagé en France où j'étais assistant linguistique dans un lycée professionnel et deux collège à Rochefort, en France pendant sept mois. Maintenant, nous habitons en Alsace, proche à la frontier allemand. Nous sommes plutôt nouveaux dans le monde de "pet sitting", mais nous avons des années d’expérience sur AirBnB, où nous sommes restés chez d’autres personnes avec ou sans eux. Isabel et Mike ont été parfait pour gérer mes "ladies" lors de mon absence. J'ai eu régulièrement de leurs nouvelles et j'ai retrouvé mon appartement en parfait état. Merci beaucoup

Pour une première expérience, on peut dire que c'est un 100 %% de réussite ! Isabel et Mike sont des hôtes parfaits ! La communication a été très facile, spontanée et efficace. Nous avons passé du temps avec eux avant notre départ et nous sommes partis en toute confiance. Ils se sont occupés du jardin à merveille, en envoyant des photos s'il y avait un doute (nous avions en effet appris que dans notre région une épidémie de mildiou attaquait tous les plants de tomates). Nous serions ravis de les revoir puisqu'ils ont l'intention de déménager dans notre ville. Isabel et Mike sont vraiment des personnes à recommander.

Michael and Bel took it in stride when they arrived into a household of three cats who believe the house is just big enough for one of them! On top of that, Vado had been fighting and got a huge abscess and needed a couple of trips to the vet and wear a collar for a few days. Many thanks to Michael and Bel for dealing with all the drama and gaining the trust of the cats in the process. Especially Carlotta is very sceptical to strangers but a lot of patience had her coming around. Thanks you guys. You are very welcome to come back and I know the cats, especially Primo, would love to have you look after them again.
