Hello,
My name is Nathalie and I have been house and pet-sitting on and off for the past 8 years. I work as a self-employed translator, which leaves me free to travel the world and look after your pets while still making a living. As I also work while I housesit, I tend to favour longer sits. This means that I spend most of my time in your home with your pets and not sightseeing.
A little bit about myself:
I grew up on a farm in the South West of France, surrounded by farm animals (cows, chickens and rabbits). We also had cats and dogs at home. I moved to the UK when I was 18 to attend university, and I lived there for over 10 years (London and Manchester). I studied languages (Russian and Spanish), then did a Masters degree in translation and interpreting. When I realised that my job did not require me to stay put, I started moving around and stayed in different countries for short amounts of time (18 months in Spain, 6 months in Canada, 3 months in Sweden, 18 months in Germany, etc.). I love this lifestyle but I also love feeling at home, which is why I enjoy being a house sitter so much.
Because of my moving around, I do not have pets of my own and pet sitting is the next best thing. I started pet sitting through a different website and switched to Nomador two years ago. During these seven years of house and pet sitting, I looked after cats and dogs, as well as small farms (up to 30 sheep and goats at a time, as well as chickens), and even a rabbit. As a keen walker/hiker, I can assure you that your pets will not lack exercise with me :) I am very house proud and you will find your home in the same condition that you left it in.
I'm happy to house/pet sit in cities and in the countryside. I do not have a vehicle of my own but I have a full clean driving licence.

Nathalie s’est parfaitement occupée de mes trois chats (avec trois caractères très différents) et de toutes mes plantes (beaucoup !). Elle a même eu de la peine pour certaines et les a rempotées avec succès. L’appartement brillait comme un sou neuf ! Et le plus important, j’ai eu des nouvelles des chats en photos ou visio très très souvent. Vous pouvez partir sereins avec Nathalie chez vous.

Je suis totalement satisfaite de la garde effectuée par Nathalie durant 3 semaines. Elle a su parfaitement gérer la période de canicule pour Titi que j'ai retrouvé en pleine forme et détendu. J'ai apprécié aussi d'avoir régulièrement des nouvelles . Ma maison était impeccable à mon retour et mes plantes bien entretenues. Je la recommande vivement.

Nathalie est une home/cat sitter parfaite ! Elle s'est très bien occupée de notre chatte qui l'a tout de suite adoptée et elle nous a rendu notre appartement plus propre que nous ne l'avions laissé !
