What our members say

  • It was such a pleasure sitting for Nicky and George. They went out of their way to explain things and ease my connections. Although I was snowbound for a few days, I never felt alone. Nicky was always available by Messenger and introduced me to a neighbor who in turn was very helpful. The dogs were very sweet and the cat appeared at feeding time (typical cat!). Nicky and George are blessed to live in a beautiful and very special part of Greece, and it would be wonderful to sit for them again. Thanks for this rare opportunity! Astrid Hamilton, Bermuda
  • Astrid is a very interesting, independent, self sufficient lady. An easy communication with her to arrange the sit. During this short winter sit, we had some unexpected dramatic weather conditions and power cuts, she coped admirably on her own and was unfazed by the difficulties this situation created. She showed care and concern for the dogs and was a great companion to them. She embraced the Greek culture and was interested in learning as much as she could about the area and rich history. She was clean and tidy and respectful of our privacy as well as honest and careful with utility expenses. It was a lovely welcome to come home to a clean and tidy, warm home and happy dogs. Thank you Astrid, I hope out paths cross again. Nicky T. Peloponnese 220 16, Greece
  • Elizabeth and her husband have a wonderful home near the largest park in St. Louis. They really love their pets, and while their cat is shy, she eventually grew used to me. Their bunny is very soft and fun to watch when eating. Elizabeth's instructions were very helpful. They invited me to a post-Thanksgiving dinner with some friends, and I'm glad to have met both of them. You will love their pets! The neighborhood feels safe, and the light rail station and a bus stop are within a 10 minute walk of their place. Henry Y. Washington, DC, USA
  • Henry cared for our cat and our rabbit for 6 days while we were away over Thanksgiving. He was very conscientious about maintaining household responsibilities. In addition, he seems to genuinely like animals. He sent us photo updates of ours and when we came back we could tell that the they had been well cared for. The house was also very neat, which was a huge relief. We all spent the evening together upon our return and really had fun talking to him about his time here - it was a nice bonus for us that he seems to have enjoyed our city! We would definitely welcome Henry again. Elizabeth S. St. Louis, MO, USA
